The Brick Road is covered with poppy pollen, responsible for its yellowish appearance. The bricks themselves are regular color.
The road leads to the Emerald City, the seat of the Wizard, the Great and Powerful.
Trivia[]
- In the leaked script for the Pilot, the road is made of golden bricks. Gold is considered a rock like any other.
- The road we can see on-screen is in fact made of rubber and can be rolled in and out when the production requires. The yellow dust is sawdust, dyed to yellowish tint.
