Eternal Warriors or Stone Giants as they are often called in Oz, are enormous knight-like statues that seemingly only the Wizard can control. Apparently, he used them to defeat the latest incarnation of the Beast Forever, when it tried to flood the Emerald City and Oz. Currently, the Warriors are asleep all over Oz.
In Episode Three, Anna theorizes that the Wizard was never able to control the giants and that the person who could do that is imprisoned in the Prison of the Abject.

One giant is poised over the Sacred Temple of the Cardinal Witches, ready to destroy it at Wizard's will.
Remains of other giants destroyed 20 years ago by the flood can be seen behind him, forming an artificial reef around the Emerald City.
